Felder Group USA looking for an experienced CNC Technician with strong leadership skills and a desire to guide and support a growing team of field service technicians. This position offers a dynamic mix of in-office and in-field responsibilities, providing technical expertise, mentorship, and hands-on service.

Location: New Castle, Delaware

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm, with occasional weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities

In-Office Duties:

• Provide advanced troubleshooting support for CNC machines and assist with general service issues across other machinery via the service helpdesk.

• Lead training sessions and refreshers for the CNC technician team to promote cross-training and technical development.

• Collaborate with the service department to improve processes and elevate team performance.

In-Field Duties:

• Travel to customer sites ranging from short local visits (within 30 minutes of the office) to extended assignments across the U.S. (typically 1–2 weeks).

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install CNC and woodworking machinery in customer facilities.

• Communicate directly with customers to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and identify or sell spare parts as needed.

• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for other CNC technicians in the field.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and troubleshooting CNC machinery (electrical, mechanical, and software systems).

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently and represent the company professionally in the field.

• Ability to train, mentor, and support technicians of varying experience levels.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air within the U.S.
